We’re on the lookout for a Shopify Virtual Assistant to join our expanding team and drive our company’s growth!


The Challenge

We are seeking a Shopify Virtual Assistant to optimize product pages, improve conversion rates, and develop category-specific marketing strategies. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset and a strategic approach to increasing profitability.


Day in the Life of a Shopify Virtual Assistant at GT Ecom

Build, manage, and optimize Shopify stores to ensure high performance, user experience, and seamless functionality.

Leverage performance marketing experience to align store optimization efforts with ad performance goals and data insights.

•  Optimize product pages to improve conversion rate (CVR) and average order value (AOV) through bundle sales;

• Monitor all live discounts and cost structures (ads, refunds, procurement costs, etc.) to maximize profit margins;
• Collaborate with suppliers to enhance product selection, align product images, and integrate customer feedback for better quality control;
• Develop audience targeting strategies for different sub-categories (e.g., activewear vs. party dresses);
• Create creative requests to improve ad performance.


Success Drivers in the first 90 days for this Role 

  • Select product pages to test and optimize for higher Conversion rate
  • Review different stores' discounts and optimize for higher profit margin
  • Improve product media assets' quality
  • Propose audience strategy for different stores

As a Shopify Virtual Assistant, you'll play a key role in optimizing product pages, improving conversion rates, and developing category-specific marketing strategies. Reporting to the Chief Marketing Officer, you'll collaborate with the marketing team to enhance product positioning, maximize profitability, and drive performance through data-driven insights.

  • You have hands-on experience building or optimizing Shopify stores that convert.
  • You have hands-on experience with Shopify Analytics
  • You’ve worked in marketing or e-commerce for 3+ years and understand how to position and sell products online.
  • You know your way around performance marketing — from setting up campaigns to reading the numbers and tweaking for better ROAS.
  • You’re comfortable analyzing store and ad performance data to optimize conversion rates and improve profit margins.
  • You’re familiar with the nuances of cross-border e-commerce, from supply chain costs to international ad strategies.
  • You communicate clearly, collaborate well, and can work independently with minimal supervision.

  6. Onboarding: Once all checks are completed, we’ll initiate the onboarding process.
