This position is remote from anywhere in Colorado, ONLY

As a key member of the Chief Data Office, you will champion the state's AI framework, driving innovation, governance, and literacy across government agencies. You will collaborate with OIT and stakeholders to develop product roadmaps, ensure strategic alignment, and deliver tangible AI solutions that benefit all.


Your responsibilities could include:

  • Oversee the full lifecycle of AI program initiatives within OIT and supporting state agencies.
  • Collaboratively define AI program goals and deliverables.
  • Develop and manage detailed plans, timelines, and resources.
  • Provide clear progress updates and risk management strategies.
  • Contribute to and implement the statewide AI strategy.
  • Partner with agencies to identify and prioritize impactful AI applications.
  • Continuously explore new AI technologies and promote responsible adoption.
  • Translate business needs into actionable AI projects.
  • Establish and enforce processes for ethical AI project delivery.
  • Ensure adherence to all relevant AI-related regulations and policies.


Minimum Qualifications:

  • A minimum five (5) of years in product/program management, with a focus on technology or AI-driven products.
  • A minimum of three (3) years of experience working in AI (e.g., machine learning, deep learning, NLP, computer vision).
  • Experience defining product vision, strategy, and roadmaps.
