Job description

Are you a driven sales professional ready to shape the future of the functional food and beverage industry? We're searching for a results-oriented Director of Sales to lead new market expansion for a groundbreaking product. This role offers the chance to unlock untapped markets, build strategic partnerships, and make a tangible impact on growth in white spaces.


**This is a remote position, with the requirement to be based out of an EST time zone.


Key Responsibilities

  • Discover Growth Opportunities: Target and develop business with leading brands in the functional food and beverage sectors, introducing an innovative product that will enhance their offerings.
  • Qualify Leads & Cultivate Relationships: Identify, evaluate, and nurture promising leads, ensuring the product’s value is front and center.
  • Analyze Market Trends: Conduct ongoing research and competitive analysis to reveal growth opportunities and keep the product ahead in the market.
  • Collaborate for Success: Work closely with sales, marketing, and internal teams to execute new business initiatives seamlessly.
  • Report & Track Success: Measure progress and adapt strategies in line with company goals to drive sustained growth.


Qualifications

  • Experience: Minimum of 5 years in B2B sales, specializing in science-backed functional ingredients, ideally within the supplement or functional food and beverage industry.
  • MUST HAVE experience with branded functional ingredients, preferably within supplements or functional food and beverage.
  • Industry Knowledge: Hands-on experience with branded functional ingredients, with a strong network in the sector.
  • Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Nutrition, or a related field required; MBA preferred.
  • Skills: Exceptional in communication, negotiation, and project management; adept with CRM tools and Microsoft Office.
  • Willingness to Travel: Some occasional travel.


Compensation: $100,000-130,000 with a bonus and uncapped commission potential! Expected OTE: $180,000-200,000
