Job description

Our client, a leader in lifestyle products, drives innovation by designing and manufacturing products that address real-world challenges and meet basic human needs, is seeking a motivated and results-driven Business Development Manager to join their team. This is a remote position, offering the opportunity to work independently, but with the full support of a diverse and talented team, while driving the company's expansion efforts.

In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strategic partnerships, and driving revenue growth. Leveraging your industry knowledge and sales expertise, you will expand our client base within the UK Retail sector, addressing complex industry challenges and driving innovation for long-term success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Developing effective business strategies to drive sales and visibility of our products in your assigned market.
  • Presenting and launching new products and licenses in the UK market.
  • Lead negotiations and contract discussions with potential partners and distributors to secure new business opportunities.
  • Collaborate closely with marketing teams to develop effective sales strategies, promotional campaigns, and product positioning initiatives.
  • Managing and following up on orders, ensuring customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Monitor sales performance, analyze sales data, and generate reports to track progress against goals and identify areas for improvement.
  • Provide regular updates and insights to senior management on market developments, business opportunities, and challenges.
  • Maintain strong relationships with existing clients

About Repserve

At Repserve we lease sales professionals to overseas companies on a shared-time basis, allowing firms to enter new markets or grow in existing ones.

Our Reps have a maximum of 3 complimentary (never competing) clients. They answer all calls and emails at all times but manage their physical client time to suit the time allocation selected by the client.

This role is for an allocation of 25% of your time.

Your day-to-day expenses will be covered (ie petrol, parking, tolls, mobile call charges, etc.) Larger expenses such as international travel, hotels, and large group entertainment should be approved by your client prior to incurring.

Your client will be encouraged to pay a sales commission based on performance. If they choose to do this, the structure of their commission scheme shall be discussed and agreed between you and your client.

Qualifications

  • We are looking for a person passionate about their work, with a clear commercial vocation, proactive, and with the ability and autonomy to make decisions in their territory, following and conveying the company's guidelines and values.
  • Previous experience in the household, hydration, and tableware sector will be highly valued.
  • Native English speaker and resident, with excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills.
  • Strong background in business development and client relationship management.
  • Strategic thinker with the ability to analyze market trends and formulate effective business strategies.
  • Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Willingness to travel as required
  • Have a proven network in the industry, where possible
