Job description

Responsibilities

Classification: Non-Exempt / Non-Bargaining

  • Relies on experience and judgement to accomplish tasks.
  • Analyzes and revises shipment plans to ensure efficient distribution of products to satisfy customer needs.
  • Relies on working knowledge of PeopleSoft Inventory and Purchasing modules to perform specific tasks related to inventory transactions.
  • Candidate will work under direction from management, but also must be self-directed to maintain transactional requirements of distribution inventory.
  • Enter material requisitions in PeopleSoft including correct coding and knowledge of the workflow approval process.
  • Process PeopleSoft receipts against Purchase Orders for shipments.
  • Enter MSR's (Material Stock Requests) into PeopleSoft and must understand issuing product from inventory and the replenishment process.
  • Perform annual Cycle Counting of inventory.
  • Maintains accurate records of inventory metrics.
  • Maintains Match Exception Process and work with Accounts Payable and/or Purchasing to clear receipt exceptions.

Qualifications

  • 2 year degree preferred and/or 4-6 years related experience
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Word, Excel, and Outlook
  • Valid state driver's license and satisfactory driving record

Salary

Pay range (commensurate with skills and experience): $47,353 – $71,774
