ASSOCIATE CREATIVE DIRECTOR


We’re looking for an Associate Creative Director with an abundance of killer ideas and unrivalled knack for shaping compelling narratives around them. Help us create out-of-this-world experiences for global brands:


You will manage the creative process from concept to final experience, leading the development of creative ideas and surpassing client expectations.


Driving innovation within the team, you’ll riff with diverse groups of Creatives and inspire big idea thinking across a mix of mediums and experiential channels.


Ideally, your background is in copy. You wow with words and are well-versed in shaping compelling narratives around your ideas.


A strong communicator, you are comfortable in front of clients and able to collaborate well.


You are a strategic conceptual thinker, and your book is brimming with outstanding experiential campaigns. Your positive attitude and passion for your craft connects and energizes colleagues and clients alike.



Responsibilities:


  • Provide creative leadership for clients.
  • Align the team behind you to generate the motivation and passion that delivers “best in class” creative work in a timely manner.
  • Concept and direct leading creative work for major accounts in multiple marketing media and disciplines.
  • Oversee the narrative and visual development of the idea in collaboration with clients and team members.
  • Manage the creative process for large-scale projects, tight deadlines, and high volume of work with geographically dispersed teams.
  • Possess the presence and experience to interface at the executive level, developing and maintaining client relationships.
  • Strong communication skills – written, verbal, visual presentation, and meeting facilitation in both individual and group settings.
  • Generate and present thought leadership on behalf of the agency.
  • Maintain an effective working relationship with all company departments, with particular emphasis on a team approach

What you need to succeed


Great Associate Creative Directors voice an opinion – about the brief, the copy, or the process – to guide teams and ensure we achieve our best work.


You will be a proven Senior Creative with a track record of leading

multiple creative projects simultaneously. You have holistic creative expertise, able to think visually and strategically about creative ideas.


Strong presentation skills are vital – you will be building compelling,

creative decks and presenting confidently to clients.


You have a real passion for the creative industry, marketing and the experiences you create.


Experience of working on global campaigns is highly desirable, as is the ability to scamp, design and illustrate concepts to quickly convey ideas.



Qualifications


  • 5+ years of experience in the creative, XM and marketing industry, in an event or experiential agency.
  • Experience of both B2B and B2C with a focus on proprietary events, general session and brand activations.
  • Minimum of 3 years leading writers and other creatives.
  • Understanding of human behavior and performance; individual differences in ability, personality, and interests; learning and motivation.
  • Strong conceptual skills, a broad thinker who can offer a variety of creative solutions.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation, and communication skills are a must.
  • Proven experience of leading small and large creative projects from inception to closeout, managing everyday details while focusing on exceptional outcomes.
  • Ability to work under pressure, flexible hours and overtime, as needed.
  • Required to travel for client meetings, site visits and presentations.
