This position is remote and can be based anywhere within the US. Candidates must be able to work within CST or EST business hours.

What Product and Solutions Marketing contributes to Cardinal Health

Marketing is responsible for assessing customer needs, market conditions and competition to inform business strategy. Marketing implements the strategy through developing, commercializing and monitoring the appropriate products and services.

Product & Solutions Marketing is responsible for defining the product/service and market strategy and lifecycle management including customer need identification, market research, product or service offering, pricing, positioning, promotion, branding and distribution to drive customer loyalty, sales growth and improved profitability.


Job Summary

The Global Product Manager, Electrocardiography is responsible for the core product management activities and workstreams to drive the business forward. An ideal candidate will collaborate cross-functionally to ensure execution of strategic business objectives and to help enable sustainable growth of the Electrocardiography portfolio within our Products Global Business Unit.


Responsibilities

  • Contribute to the global product strategy for the Electrocardiography product line, working with both regional and channel marketing leaders
  • Marketing point person for project related questions relating to supply chain, manufacturing, and operational questions. Translates complex scenarios into simple and actionable objectives.
  • Understand methods available to execute primary research that are necessary to drive product line/portfolio decisions.  Help identify market opportunities through primary and secondary market research and act by implementing and managing solutions that meet customer needs
  • Translate market and customer needs into clearly defined goals, objectives, strategies, and tactics to drive sales & profitability for the business. Accountable for gaining and driving cross functional support from all stakeholders.
  • Identify and remain current on market trends. Determine product/service lifecycle implications and makes recommendations to maintain market competitiveness and to achieve sustainable economic success.
  • Demonstrate basic financial acumen and logical decision making in the general business environment. Support the development of business cases, investment requests, forecasting, pricing, deal structures, and assessing strategic options
  • Influence and work collaboratively with cross-functional teams including R&D, sourcing, manufacturing, enterprise marketing, enterprise contracting, strategic pricing, customer service, finance, quality, regulatory, legal, inventory, regional and channel teams, and others
  • Take informed risk and be biased toward action


Qualifications

  • 4-8 years of experience in related field, preferred
  • Bachelor’s degree in related field, or equivalent work experience, preferred
  • Healthcare or medical product management experience, preferred
  • Experience with Oracle Agile and SAP, preferred

Anticipated salary range: $79,700 - $113,800

** The salary range listed is an estimate. Pay at Cardinal Health is determined by multiple factors including, but not limited to, a candidate’s geographical location, relevant education, experience and skills and an evaluation of internal pay equity.
