We are seeking a dynamic Sales Account Manager to join our Advertising team and report to our Director, Client Engagement.
This role focuses on nurturing client relationships, driving upsell opportunities, and delivering compelling performance decks that weave data-driven insights, campaign findings, and actionable recommendations into a cohesive story. The ideal candidate is an analytical thinker with a knack for storytelling, strong client-facing skills, and a passion for leveraging ad tech to achieve business goals.
Key Responsibilities
Sales Strategy
Collaborate with ad sales to create inspiring, tailored proposals and pitches
Understand client need to develop strategies that showcase our ad tech's value
Track proposal outcomes to refine future strategies
Stay up-to-date on ad tech trends and competitors for cutting-edge approaches
Client Relationship Management
Serve as the primary contact, building trust and long-term client partnerships
Conduct regular client check-ins and quarterly reviews with performance insights
Translate client needs into customized advertising solutions
Address concerns quickly to ensure high satisfaction and retention
Upselling and Revenue Growth
Identify upsell/cross-sell opportunities to drive revenue
Work with Director of Client Engagement to maximize client investment
Performance Analysis & Storytelling
Create data-driven decks with campaign insights and actionable recommendations
Analyze data to track KPIs, identify trends, and optimize campaigns
Use research and brand lift studies to enhance client value
Collaboration & Support
Partner with internal teams for seamless campaign execution
Share client feedback to inform product and strategy development
Develop templated materials (case studies) to scale solutions
Qualifications & Experience
6+ years in account management within the ad tech industry, including a proven track record of managing and growing client accounts
Consultative approach to client management with a focus on solving challenges and driving value
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights
Exceptional communication and presentation skills with experience crafting compelling narratives through performance decks
Background in marketing research, brand lift studies, or ad campaign measurement, a plus
Superior organizational and time management skills
Proficiency in Google Workspace products, Hubspot, Salesforce, and other ad tech
