We are the largest non-NHS provider of end-of-life care in the UK, the only provider across all 4 nations, delivering community nursing and hospice care across the country, while providing information and support on all aspects of dying, death, and bereavement. Our leading research pushes the boundaries of what we know about good end-of-life, and our campaigns fight for a world where everyone gets to have the best possible quality of life while living with an illness, they’re likely to die from.


The care and support we provide is highly valued by the people we care for and their loved ones, but at present we are only reaching around 10% of dying people at the end of life. Right now, one in four people in the UK with a terminal illness, do not get the care or support they deserve at the end of their lives.

Your role in our mission…

We are recruiting for a Data Coordinator to join our Commercial and Performance reporting team as part of Caring Services Operations Department at Marie Curie. This position will be responsible for supporting and maintaining the organisation’s Services CRM system, ensuring accurate data entry, undertaking robust analysis and reporting, and adherence to data protection regulations.


As a Data Coordinator, you will also focus on generating reports from CRM and other clinical systems to assist in performance and operational management. You will collaborate with stakeholders from both clinical and non-clinical perspectives to ensure that IT solutions are effectively integrated into business processes, driving efficiency and productivity.


Your responsibilities also include liaising with our IT CRM Support team with the implementation of new CRM systems and ensure a smooth transition. You will resolve system related queries, provide training, and maintain up-to-date process documentation.


About You:

We are looking for someone who is highly motivated, flexible and passionate about data. Also, a strong team player and wanting to work in a team that uses data and analysis to support continuous improvement and operational decision making.


You will ideally possess extensive experience in utilising data systems and undertaking analysis. Have knowledge and experience of using CRM systems, has a passion for enhancing systems and processes and a comprehensive understanding of Excel.


You demonstrate attention to detail expertise in handling data and analysis. You hold good interpersonal skills and can interact and communicate well with stakeholders at all levels and ensure that systems and processes are optimised in alignment with the overall strategic goals of Marie Curie.


What we’re looking for:

  • Excellent IT skills, including proficiency in Excel, Word, SharePoint, and data/information management systems.
  • Proficiency in Excel, including the use of formulas, pivot tables, and data visualisation techniques.
  • Experience with CRM and operational databases and supporting CRM systems.
  • Skilled in handling system-related queries and data integrity issues, compliance, data quality activities and provide data system training support.
  • Familiar with data analysis, operational and performance reporting, and understanding of data protection regulations.
  • Strong planning, organisational, and time management abilities.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills to engage stakeholders, build relationships, and communicate at all levels.

Hours : 35 hours per week

Contract : 12-Month Fixed Term Contract (possibility of extension)

Salary : £26,370 - £27,500 Annual (Pro-rated)

Shifts : Day Shifts, Monday - Friday

Based : Home-Based in the UK, with flexibility to travel as needed
