Job description

If your answer is yes, let’s talk about an exciting opportunity as a Retirement Administration Data Manager; Peoplr is excited to be leading this search for one of our clients.    

In this role, you will manage a team of data analysts and consultants that provide deep subject matter expertise to their clients regarding the processing, conversion, and administration of their retirement plan data. You will oversee and ensure the quality of retirement and payroll data processing, file extracts to the checkwriter, data conversions for new client implementations and special projects, annual valuation extract files, and daily data updates, reports, and processing. You will also maintain and enforce database integrity and recommend enhancements to improve efficiencies. This is a full time, permanent position offering a generous salary, bonus opportunities, and comprehensive benefits. The chosen candidate can work remotely or, if local, hybrid out of the company’s locations in Dallas, TX or Jacksonville, FL, after an initial 6-month probation period.



Requirements

Must Haves

  • 10+ years of data conversion work experience, including 5+ years of people management with the ability to train, mentor, and manage junior data analysts
  • Hands-on experience converting large quantities of data
  • Demonstrated advanced SQL or Oracle skills; ability to translate and manipulate data in a wide variety of database management systems to support successful data conversions
  • Excellent Excel skills (VLOOKUPs, PivotTables, macros)
  • Experience automating manual data processes and/or identifying data process improvement efficiencies
  • Organized and detail-oriented; able to project manage multiple priorities both independently and working with client teams
  • Excellent communication and leadership skills
  • Strong data analysis and critical thinking abilities
  • Bachelor's degree in related field or equivalent work experience

Nice-To-Haves

  • Knowledge of Microsoft Visual Studio and/or C#
