Position Overview: GWFS’s Business Intelligence Analyst is responsible for managing customer, contractual and competitor intelligence across a variety of mediums for the organization. Duties include organizing data points for executive leadership review; analyzing industry trends; recommending corporate strategies to action intelligence; and ensuring a comprehensive collection of relevant intelligence. The Business Intelligence Analyst will report to the Vice President, Operations & Strategic Development.

Responsibilities:

Transforming data into action that can help improve the value of the business through customer, competitor and contractual intelligence collection and analysis
Developing and managing business intelligence solutions for the organization, including managing platforms that synthesize intelligence across mediums
Providing reports to improve business opportunity evaluations and contextual knowledge for key leaders
Performing competitor, customer and contractual assessments and conduct informational deep dives as required
Collaborating with team members for the purpose of collecting data and executing the company’s mission
Providing support for further evaluation of federal, state, and local business opportunities when those opportunities align to business goals and strategy.
Conducting government agency-specific contract spend and policy change analysis for federal, state and local governments
Attending industry events in person and virtually and reporting key findings to leadership
Supporting actioning business intelligence within the organization

Preferred Qualifications:

Bachelor’s degree
Working knowledge of government contracting and spending habits across federal, state and local governments
Prior business intelligence function or similar experience
Familiarity with traditional and social media platforms for synthesizing data (e.g., X, LinkedIn, Sprout Social, Talkwalker, etc.)
Familiarity with government contracting platforms such as GovWin and Bloomberg Government
3-5 years relevant corporate experience
