As a Strategy & Business Operations (BizOps) Lead, you will partner with Finance, HR, Product & Technology, Insurance, Membership, Media and Marketplace to tackle key strategic projects and business operations decisions. What you’ll do
- Participate in the company's most relevant strategic projects including market competitive analysis, unit economics, capital prioritization, acquisitions & divestitures, strategic direct investments, business processes and optimization.
- Solve complex business problems and upgrade processes for a wide range of go-to-market and operational needs.
- Monitor and analyze the company's operational and financial performance. Ensure that targets are being met, and if not, identify the reasons and develop strategies to improve performance.
- Diagnose issues by speaking with stakeholders, investigating systems, and business intelligence analytics with SQL and Tableau.
- Develop a deep understanding of the Hagerty ecosystem.
- Assist with evaluation of acquisition, divestiture, or partnership expansion opportunities.
- Establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders companywide.

- Exceptional ability to draw key insights from quantitative and qualitative data.
- Self-starter who can circumnavigate problems along the way to reach a solution.
- Strong communication skills that allow you to partner effectively with and influence others at all levels within the organization.
- Proven experience in management consulting, investment banking, private equity, VC or business operations / BizOps at a fast-growing startup.
- Advanced Excel.
- Experience with SQL, Tableau or Python strongly preferred.
- Able to assess and prioritize multiple tasks simultaneously.

- This position can be worked remotely within the United States.
- Familiarity with public company requirements, including Sarbanes Oxley and key regulations, if applicable. For SOX compliant roles, responsible for designing, executing, and documenting internal controls where they have been identified as owners to prevent errors in financial reporting, processes, and business operations. Including attestation to the completeness, accuracy, and compliance of all financial reporting data, where applicable.
