Marketing & Events Executive

Xn Leisure is a leading provider of innovative leisure management software designed to help leisure centres, gyms, and wellness facilities streamline their operations and enhance customer engagement. We are looking for a dynamic and proactive Marketing and Events Executive to join our marketing team. This role will have a unique focus on collaborating with our product team to effectively communicate our software’s features and benefits, while also managing impactful events that showcase our offerings.

Job Summary:

The Marketing and Events Executive will play a crucial role in the development and execution of marketing strategies that drive brand awareness, lead generation, and customer engagement. This role will require close collaboration with the product team to understand our software’s features and how they translate into value for our clients. The ideal candidate will also plan and manage events (both virtual and in-person) that effectively promote our brand and product offerings to the leisure and wellness industry.

Key Responsibilities:

Marketing Strategy & Execution:

  • Develop and implement marketing campaigns to promote our software products

  • Collaborate closely with the product team to create compelling content, including product launches, feature announcements, and educational materials

  • Develop and maintain a content calendar, ensuring timely and relevant distribution across various channels (email, social media, website, etc.)

  • Conduct market research to understand trends, competitors, and customer needs, and use insights to inform marketing strategies

  • Manage and optimise digital marketing channels, including SEO, PPC, and social media advertising

  • Monitor and report on the effectiveness of marketing activities, providing insights and recommendations for improvement.

Product Collaboration:

  • Work closely with the product team to gain an in-depth understanding of new and existing features

  • Develop marketing materials such as product videos, brochures, and case studies that highlight product value and use cases

  • Conduct product training sessions for internal teams to ensure alignment in messaging and product knowledge.

Event Management:

  • Plan and execute virtual and in-person events, including trade shows, product demos, webinars, and customer appreciation events

  • Manage event logistics, from venue selection and vendor coordination to registration and follow-up communications

  • Create engaging event content that effectively communicates the benefits of our software and drives attendee engagement

  • Track and analyse event performance, providing reports and recommendations for future improvements.

Content Creation & Management:

  • Create and manage a variety of content types, including blog posts, whitepapers, newsletters, and case studies, with a focus on demonstrating product value

  • Work with design and multimedia teams to produce visually appealing content assets

  • Ensure brand consistency across all marketing and event materials.

Skills and Qualifications:

  • Proven experience in a marketing or events role, ideally within a SaaS or technology-driven company

  • Degree or equivalent in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related field

  • Proven experience in digital marketing, content creation, and lead generation strategies

  • Experience planning and executing both virtual and in-person events

  • Ability to quickly learn and understand complex software products, translating technical features into client benefits

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams, especially product teams

  • Exceptional project management skills, with the ability to manage multiple campaigns and events simultaneously

  • Familiarity with analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics) and the ability to measure and report on the performance of marketing initiatives

  • Proficiency in marketing automation tools, CRM software (e.g., HubSpot, Salesforce, we use Zoho), and event management platforms

  • Innovative thinking and a creative approach to problem-solving and content development.

Desirable Skills:

  • Familiarity with the leisure, wellness, or fitness industry

  • Basic understanding of UX/UI principles to better align marketing content with the product experience

  • Experience with graphic design tools (e.g., Adobe Creative Suite) or video editing software.
