Job Title: Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) – Outpatient Mental Health Therapist

Location: Oxnard, California

Employment Type: Full-Time

Salary: $90,000.00 - $100,000 per year + benefits 

We are currently seeking a compassionate, skilled, and socially conscious Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) to join our dedicated outpatient behavioral health team in California. In this role, your clinical expertise, systems thinking, and advocacy mindset will be deeply valued and fully utilized.

What You’ll Do:

  • Provide individual, group, couples, and/or family therapy in a culturally responsive, strengths-based, and trauma-informed framework
  • Conduct comprehensive biopsychosocial assessments and develop collaborative, person-centered treatment plans
  • Maintain timely and accurate documentation in compliance with clinical, legal, and ethical guidelines
  • Partner with a multidisciplinary team including psychologists, psychiatrists, and case managers for coordinated care
  • Advocate for client needs both within and beyond the therapy room—connecting them with resources and community supports when needed
  • Optionally participate in training, mentorship, or supervision of newer clinicians if desired

Requirements

  • A Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in good standing with the California Board of Behavioral Sciences
  • Passionate about accessible mental health care, equity, and client empowerment
  • Skilled in trauma-informed modalities (e.g., CBT, EMDR, DBT, somatic practices, etc.)
  • Experienced or open to working with diverse populations, including BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, immigrants, youth, and families
  • Organized, communicative, and able to manage clinical caseloads while maintaining strong boundaries and compassion
