The Event Supervisor will organize and coordinate various types of events, such as conferences, meetings, parties and corporate functions. They are responsible for overseeing a team of event planners and ensuring that all events are planned and executed successfully. They are responsible for assigning tasks to team members, providing guidance and support, and monitoring progress to ensure that deadlines are met. They are responsible for evaluating the performance of their team members and providing feedback for improvement. Overall, they play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth and successful execution of events. This position is 100% remote.

ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS
The ability to obtain, maintain and access classified information at the Secret level.
Provide event planning services for up to 60 events, to
include:
Planning for contracted events.
Engage with designated Wing POC’s
Facilitate events.
Coordinate events.
Travel to proposed venues for site visits.
Supervise Event Planners.
Provide monthly reports.
For up to 60 ANG Yellow Ribbon events, provide all labor, supervision, materials
and equipment, venue location management, administrative services, food and
beverage services, childcare services, audio visual, and onsite support services.
Proficient in key functions of Microsoft Excel, Teams, Word, OneNote and Adobe Pro

Previous experience working with Department of Defense

KEY DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Essential Duties and responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
Supervises a group of Event Planners and are responsible for ensuring work is completed efficiently and effectively and the team is meeting their goals and objectives. Additionally, responsibilities include evaluating the performance of their team members and providing feedback for improvement.
Collaborates with clients to understand their event requirements, objectives, and budget, providing expert advice and guidance. Develops innovative and creative event concepts and themes based on client preferences and needs, ensuring a unique and memorable experience for attendees.
Researches and identifies suitable venues for events based on client requirements, considering factors such as capacity, location, and amenities. Negotiates contracts and secures bookings with venues, ensuring favorable terms and conditions.
Creates and manages comprehensive event budgets, overseeing all financial aspects of the event. Monitors expenses closely to ensure they are accounted for and kept within the allocated budget. Provides recommendations for cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of the event.
Develops and implements effective marketing strategies to promote events and attract a targeted audience. Utilizes various channels such as social media, email marketing, and traditional advertising methods to maximize event exposure. Analyzes marketing data and adjusts strategies as needed to optimize attendance.
Oversees event setup, ensuring all elements are in place according to the event plan. Managing event staff and volunteers to ensure smooth operations during the event. Oversees all logistical aspects of events, including arranging transportation, accommodation, and equipment rentals. Assists with conducting post-event evaluations to assess the success of the event and gather feedback from clients and attendees.

EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE
Bachelor's degree and a minimum of 3 years’ relevant experience, or equivalent combination of education/experience.

Work is primarily performed in an office environment. Regularly required to sit. The estimated pay range for this role is $70K to $90K, with the final offer contingent on location, skillset, and experience.
