Job Summary:

The People Operations (HR) Team at IPH is seeking an enthusiastic and energetic People Services Specialist to primarily support effective and efficient operations of the organization’s People Department.

As part of our Employee Experience Team, you will help shape the way we deliver HR Services to the organization. You’ll be an integral part of the team building an awesome employee experience through partnering with leaders and employees on a variety of topics.

Main Responsibilities: 

  • Input and update employee data ensuring accuracy and integrity within Workday HRIS
  • Validate critical new hire information such as employee location, position details, pay type, etc.
  • Initiate onboarding tasks and ensure all steps are completed in a timely manner
  • Maintain accurate records of I-9 forms, follow up on discrepancies and stay up to date on changes to I-9 regulations to ensure company practices align with legal requirements
  • Problem solves employee inquiries and owns the resolution and communication back to the internal customer
  • Supports ad-hoc reporting requests, prepares proposals and presentations
  • Develop, update, and maintain Workday Help Knowledge Base Articles and Drive documents to ensure they are current and relevant
  • Answers frequently asked questions from applicants and employees relative to standard policies, benefits, hiring processes, etc.; refers more complex questions to appropriate other People team members
  • Supports the People team with organizational tasks and various administrative duties
  • Coordinates off-boarding activities, such as asset retrieval, HRIS data entry, etc.
  • Partner across the organization on various topics and programs in support of delivering a seamless end to end employee experience
  • Contributes to policy writing and interpretation. May assist in developing organizational policy and procedural efficiencies within organization’s values
  • Supports People Partners in Employee Relations and other confidential matters.

Qualifications: 

  • Bachelors Degree in Human Resources or equivalent experience.
  • 3+ years of human resources related experience
  • Proficiency in Workday HRIS, particularly the HCM, Recruiting, and Talent modules
  • High proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Ability to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to data discrepancies and system errors in Workday HRIS
  • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret and evaluate employee data
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Excellent interpersonal skills with the ability to manage sensitive and confidential situations with tact, professionalism, and diplomacy
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Successful multitasker who can work effectively in a fast-paced environment
