Job Description

The Senior Financial Analyst will be a part of the finance controllership team supporting the MT SC Digital Warehouse Management Systems Transformation, a two-year global business transformation initiative.

The role will be responsible for providing financial analysis and support Warehouse Management Systems and partner closely with the Project Controller on the overall Project cost planning and budget support. The role will lead the consolidation and reporting of the financial outlook to the Project Leadership team. The individual will identify critical factors affecting project finances and evaluate potential options to deliver program spend under budget.

This is a critical role with many opportunities to present to various management/project teams. The role requires a high level of motivation and confidence, and the ability to perform complex analysis under tight deadlines.  The successful candidate must be able to engage and operate with the project team at an execution level, as well as with leadership at a strategic level. This role will need to develop strong business partnerships across project teams.

Key Responsibilities

  • Partner with Project Deployment Teams on Project Planning & Execution
  • Partner with cross functional team member to plan, identify and strategize project financial management
  • Track and communicate the project status, & support Project Business Case
  • Drive establishment and implementation of standard process for all Project planning & tracking, including relevant templates and guidance
  • Partner with project leads to establish integrated project plans / schedules / deliverables (including finance closing) / forecasting (Business Plan and forecast update) / Financial modeling. 

Qualifications

  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree required (Accounting, Finance, Business, Economics); advanced degree or MBA is highly desirable
  • Prefer a minimum of 3-4 years of progressive experience in leadership roles within finance, or large transformation programs.
  • Prefer strong knowledge of Medical Devices Supply Chain or Commercial Operations
  • Excellent interpersonal and negotiating skills, with proven ability to influence/collaborate to get to desired result
  • Proven history of collaboratively working with colleagues across functional areas to deliver results is required
  • Strong customer focus (internal & external), including development and management of stakeholders
  • Knowledge in deploying standardized work processes, tools, and templates is preferred
  • Experience managing to project timelines and milestones in complex business environments preferred
  • Skilled at engaging and building relationships with senior business stakeholders required
  • Experience working in a complex, multi-ERP / system environment preferred
  • Strong interpersonal & communication skills, with an ability to influence people at all levels.
  • Advanced English level required.
  • Knowledge of a variety of computer software packages particularly Excel, PowerPoint, and General Ledger. Advanced Microsoft Excel skills, including experience with pivot tables, formulas, macros and VLOOKUP functions is preferred.
