Financial Analyst

Our client, specializing in offering strategic financial consulting services to mission-driven social enterprises and non-profits, is seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Financial Analyst to support their CFOs in analyzing financial data and improving decision-making processes. In this role, you will handle a variety of tasks related to financial modeling, data storage, and reporting, ensuring that all data is accurate and accessible. You will work closely with the CFO team to deliver accurate financial analysis and insights.

Location:
Fully-Remote (Work from Home), 9 AM - 5 PM PST

Role Overview:
The Financial Analyst will create and maintain advanced financial models using Excel, assist with financial data analysis, and work with data from QuickBooks and other financial systems. You will provide support to CFOs and ensure accurate and actionable insights that will guide the client’s decision-making processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Data Modeling: Create and maintain advanced financial models using Excel to assist with decision-making and business strategy.

• Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze and track financial data, ensuring consistency and accuracy across reports.

• QuickBooks Integration: Work with data from QuickBooks and other financial systems to ensure financial reports and data modeling are accurate and up-to-date.

• Client Satisfaction: Ensure that all financial models meet the needs and expectations of the CFOs and clients, maintaining a high level of accuracy.

• Collaboration with CFOs: Work closely with CFOs to provide ongoing support in analyzing financial data and delivering actionable insights.

Qualifications:

• Experience: 2+ years experience in data analysis and financial modeling with a strong background in Excel. Must have experience building driver-based, forward-looking financial models. Experience as an investment banker or in financial planning & analysis is ideal.

• Skills: Proficient in creating complex financial models and working with large datasets. Attention to detail and the ability to work with financial data is essential.

• Software Knowledge: Strong understanding of QuickBooks and Google Drive for financial data storage and collaboration is highly preferred.

• Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills to explain complex data and insights clearly to the team and clients.

• Client Focus: Ability to understand the needs of clients and deliver data analysis that aligns with business goals.
