ServiceNow Business Process Consultant (SAM)
Remote Position
5+Month Contract
Remote opportunity for a motivated ServiceNow Business Process Consultant with proven experience in Software Asset Management (SAM), IT Asset Management (ITAM), and IT Service Management (ITSM). The role involves delivering ServiceNow-related design and development support for diverse technical engagements.
Analyze organizational SAM requirements and translate into ServiceNow solutions
Identify, gather, and prioritize SAM needs with stakeholders; develop implementation roadmap
Conduct gap analyses of current/future SAM processes and systems
Develop functional specifications and requirements documentation
Collaborate with developers, architects, and IT teams to design and implement SAM solutions
Lead and support UAT to ensure solution alignment with business needs
Train and support end-users on ServiceNow SAM solutions
Assist in developing SAM policies, procedures, and documentation
Manage and resolve SAM-related incidents
Stay updated on SAM industry trends and adjust ServiceNow implementations accordingly
Minimum 5 years of ServiceNow development experience (implementation, integration, enhancement, and support)
3–5 years in Business Analysis or SAM role
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Business Administration, or related field
Strong understanding of ITAM and ITSM principles
Experience with ServiceNow or similar ITSM/automation platforms
Strong analytical, problem-solving, communication, and interpersonal skills
Familiarity with Agile or Waterfall methodologies
Certified ServiceNow System Administrator
Preferred:
ServiceNow Certified Implementation Specialist (ITSM, HAM, SAM)
ITIL v3 certification
Strong presentation and documentation skills
Demonstrated teamwork and leadership experience
