Hybrid: (2-3 days /week Onsite)
Product Manager, Authentication to lead the development and enhancement of our authentication and identity access management (IAM) capabilities. In this highly visible role, you will define and drive the roadmap for secure and seamless authentication experiences, ensuring a balance between security and customer convenience.
As a key leader in the authentication space, you'll work across engineering, security, UX, and business teams to deploy new authentication features, enhance login security, and optimize user access. Role & Responsibility
Own and drive the authentication product roadmap, ensuring alignment with security best practices and customer experience goals.
Develop and implement IAM strategies, including MFA, passkeys, biometrics, policy-based risk scoring, and other authentication protocols.
Define, prioritize, and manage the backlog of authentication-related user stories in an Agile/Scrum environment.
Partner with engineering and security teams to roll out new IAM capabilities while ensuring compliance with industry standards.
Analyze customer authentication behaviors and security risks, using data to make informed product decisions.
Lead root cause analysis of authentication issues and drive continuous improvements in login and credential management.
Build compelling business cases and executive-level presentations, using data to influence key stakeholders.
Thrive in a fast-paced, unstructured environment, taking ownership and driving initiatives with minimal oversight.
Skills
7+ years of product management experience, with at least 5 years focused on authentication or IAM-related products.
Deep expertise in authentication technologies, including MFA, OTP, biometrics, passkeys, magic links, and risk-based authentication.
Strong data-driven mindset, with experience identifying KPIs, measuring performance, and presenting insights to leadership.
Hands-on experience implementing login credential rules and balancing security vs. user experience.
Proficiency in Agile/Scrum, with a track record of writing clear user stories and managing sprint cycles.
Excellent communication and storytelling skills – able to sell a vision and influence stakeholders at all levels.
Comfortable in an unstructured, fast-moving environment with evolving priorities.
