As the Engagement Manager, you are responsible for the day-to-day health and effectiveness of Cengage Group’s relationships with high priority partners National Geographic Society and TED. You will serve as our primary contact with these organizations, responding swiftly to requests to partner on initiatives to expand our impact and to ensure that Cengage is adhering to and leveraging existing agreements to maximize business outcomes.
What you'll do here:
Manage master view of contract requirements and obligations, as well as any tracking and reporting necessary to meet contractual obligations
Manage day-to-day relationship with NGS, including deep understanding of all NGS-Cengage touchpoints to help drive results
Serve as expert and steward of the brands, ensuring adherence to guidelines set by partner organizations
Work cross-functionally to coordinate Board of Director meetings and prepare presentations as needed
Liaise with CEO office, Executive Team and senior leadership to ensure Cengage representation at NGS functions (e.g. Explorers Festival)
Develop and own cross-functional issue escalation/resolution process
Partner with Content Acquisitions Operations to ensure optimized workflows to enable businesses to leverage NGS resources (ie brand, assets, content, talent)
Cultivate relationships with key leaders at NGS and at TED, partnering on mutually beneficial initiatives
Skills you will need here:
3-6 years program management or B2B management experience
Exceptional relationship building skills; able to gain trust of diverse partners from the executives to entry-level team members
Experience engaging with senior level management in formal presentations
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
Proficiency with Word, Excel, and PowerPoint

The full base pay range has been provided for this position. Individual base pay will vary based on work schedule, qualifications, experience, internal equity, and geographic location. Sales roles often incorporate a significant incentive compensation program beyond this base pay range.
