Regional Sales Manager (Remote – Eastern or Western U.S.)

Wausau Tile | Remote | Full-Time | Travel Required (up to 75%)

Wausau Tile, a national leader in architectural concrete, terrazzo, and metal products, is looking for Regional Sales Managers to oversee our independent sales representatives in the Eastern and Western U.S. regions. These remote roles are ideal for strategic, relationship-driven leaders ready to make a lasting impact.

What You’ll Do

Team Leadership & Coaching

  • Lead and support a team of 15–20 independent sales reps

  • Train, mentor, and reinforce Wausau Tile’s proven sales process

  • Conduct regular coaching sessions and skill development activities

  • Help reps grow accounts and cross-sell products across five divisions

Sales Strategy & Execution

  • Develop and implement regional sales strategies

  • Set sales targets and monitor performance metrics

  • Identify growth opportunities in new markets and product lines

  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to align on campaigns

Client Relationship Management

  • Build and maintain relationships with key clients, architects, and specifiers

  • Assist reps in closing high-value or complex deals

  • Represent Wausau Tile at trade shows and industry events

Market Insights

  • Analyze regional trends and competitor activity

  • Share market feedback with leadership and product teams


What We’re Looking For
  • 5+ years of experience in sales and team management

  • Background in construction, architecture, or building materials (preferred)

  • Proven ability to coach and drive sales performance

  • Strong communication, negotiation, and analytical skills

  • Experience with CRM systems

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, or a related field (preferred)

  • Willingness to travel frequently (up to 75%)
