About the role:

Planful is looking for an Alliances Manager to build out a dynamic alliances & partnerships ecosystem in EMEA.
Reporting to our Senior Director of Global Partnerships, you will focus on supporting our technology alliances. You will work with our partners to proactively develop, manage and nurture relationships that result in deeper win-win partnerships where the customer benefits as a result of our “better together relationship." We are seeking an exceptional individual to create new synergies and innovations with our partner ecosystem. You will have the opportunity to grow into a thought leader and a Planful expert. Your expertise will create competitive advantages that add value to a diverse set of customers and drive revenue growth worldwide.

Responsibilities:

  • Accelerate growth by developing and executing strategies that grow our partner's Planful practices.
  • Support the growth of our technology alliance ecosystem, while improving execution with current and future partners.
  • Identify and qualify new green field opportunities within EMEA market that align with our Solution Implementer and Technology Alliances strategies.
  • Identify and qualify new opportunities in conjunction with our alliance partners’ technical strategies that can be satisfied by Planful’s solutions, products, and services.
  • Expand and create a competitive advantage for the Planful product portfolio in the partner’s product portfolio, offering a joint value proposition that is “better together” for our joint customers.
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of Planful’s products, platforms and technologies.
  • Define, maintain, and deliver co-innovation strategic roadmap with strategic alliances.
  • Drive expert-level communication of customer/partner feedback and market experience to product management, engineering organization within Planful.
  • Document solution proposals, technical use cases, and reference architectures.
  • Assist in defining and evolving Planful’s Tech Alliances Go-To-Market Strategy.

What you Bring to the Table

Required:

  • 5–7 years of experience in partner management, alliances, or consulting in a B2B SaaS or enterprise technology environment.
  • Deep familiarity with the EPM/FP&A space or a strong understanding of the competitive landscape across EMEA.
  • Proven success managing strategic partnerships that drive measurable revenue impact.
  • Experience working across time zones and partnering with North America-based stakeholders.
  • Strong business acumen and the ability to quickly understand and communicate joint solutions and value propositions.
  • Comfortable working independently and confidently in a fast-paced, remote-friendly environment.
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including experience engaging executive stakeholders.
  • Highly organized, self-motivated, and able to manage multiple priorities.

Preferred:

  • Consulting background or in-house partnerships experience at an EPM/FP&A company.
  • Track record of building out a partner ecosystem in a growth-stage SaaS company.
  • Understanding of partner sales models and experience co-selling with partners.
  • Ability to understand technical solution architectures and contribute to co-innovation planning.
