Job Description

Your role:

  • Ensure software quality by applying best engineering practices and test automation. 
  • Be responsible for automation of components, integration and e2e tests.
  • Work with the team to ensure the quality of assigned applications/products. 
  • Ensure features are delivered according to requirements and satisfy acceptance criteria 
  • Contribute to test architecture designed by Senior roles, create and deliver test plans to team/s.
  • Develop and execute exploratory and automation tests, maintain consistency of framework and code.
  • Design and document test cases and test scenarios in a common test repository, preferably in Gherkin, in Git.
  • Report test results to the team, maintains and generates test data. 
  • Requirements and documentation analysis/testing. 
  • Create, maintain, and execute automation test suites in CI: Jenkins, Gitlab, or Azure DevOps.

Qualifications

Must have:

  • Experience in the test automation in Java area, strong, demonstrated understanding of OOP in Java.
  • Strong understanding of web development and web application test automation (GUI).
  • Proficiency in test automation of APIs, familiarity with Postman/any other rest client, SOAPUI, RestClient, ThunderClient.
  • Strong understanding of SQL databases.
  • Practical knowledge of SDLC and Bug Life Cycle.
  • Familiarity with test automation based on BDD in Java (Cucumber).
  • Proficiency in CI tools like Gitlab CI or Jenkins. 
  • Proficiency in using network protocols and error codes.
  • Good teamwork, communication skills, and analytical approach.
  • Excellent problem-solving skills, ability to communicate in a well-structured, technical and professional manner.
  • Fluency in English (spoken & written).

Nice to have:

  • Bachelor's or master's degree in any technical field. 
  • Understanding of containers orchestration mechanisms: GitOps, Kubernetes, Helm, Terraform.
  • Knowledge of monitoring tools (e.g. Zabbix, Nagios, Prometheus, Grafana, Kibana (with KQL), Dynatrace, New Relic, AppDynamics, Datadog, Instana, Elastic APM).
  • Knowledge of French would be an asset.
