Under the general leadership of the Application Integration and Automation Manager the Senior Automation Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing solutions and workflows that streamline business operations, by automating repetitive tasks, freeing human resources to focus on more complex and strategic assignments and goals. The Senior Automation Engineer will work independently with business stakeholders to understand the processes they want to automate. They will then analyze these processes to determine which tasks are suitable for automation and identify areas where automation can be deployed to improve efficiency and have the Robotic Process Automation (RPA) and Scripting skillset to identify if process reengineering is necessary to obtain the organizations goals. Additional responsibilities: Administer and manage automation scheduling. Maintain, update and monitor existing and new automation. Manage automation pipeline. Identify, evaluate, and troubleshoot new and existing automations. Identify new automation opportunities. Create detailed roadmaps to guide automation projects from conception to final implementation.

Responsibilities

  • Automation design and implementation:
    • Design and implement scalable, efficient automation processes
    • Develop and maintain scripts and RPA programs to support the automation solutions.
  • Optimize and support existing automation solutions:
    • Identify optimization opportunities
    • Maintain, update, monitor and escalate automation processes
    • Implement process upgrades
  • Administration and scheduling:
    • Manage and administer the automation schedule and pipeline.
    • Coordinate with stakeholders and the automation team.
  • Be a contributing member of project teams with the possibility of multiple projects overlapping.
  • Ensures projects stay on task in terms of time, cost, and scope.
  • Effectively work with project manager and stakeholders, maintaining communications.
  • Work with third party vendors through vendor support and collaborating on technical components.
  • Cross train and mentor junior team members:
  • Responsible for resolving RPA/Automation related service requests by analyzing, troubleshooting and designing the solution
  • Supports and participates in continuous improvement activities.
  • Represents the Credit Union in a positive and professional manner.
  • Maintains member, team members and other sensitive information with confidentiality.
  • Treats coworkers and members with respect.
  • Supports member relations and events that promotes member centric experiences.
  • Other related duties as assigned.

  • Strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
  • Solid knowledge of automation technologies Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
Qualifications

  • Minimum 5 years IT experience inclusive of the following:
  • Automation Engineer or similar position, with a focus on designing and implementing automation solutions.
  • 5 or more years of experience designing/building automated solutions, using the UiPath framework (or comparable development platform)
  • 5 or more years of experience with programming and scripting languages using one if not all of the following Python, Java, C#, BASH, PowerShell, and SQL
  • 5 or more years of experience integrating with API (REST, SOAP)
  • 5 or more years of experience with testing and deploying Automated solutions
  • An Automation first mindset with strong problem solving, critical thinking, and a logical approach to complex processes.
  • Strong knowledge of scripting and programming languages.
  • Solid knowledge of automation technologies Robotic Process Automation (RPA)
  • Strong ability to design, develop, and implement software bots using RPA technologies.
  • Demonstrated ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders, gather requirements, understand intricacies (interrelation between needs/wants, legal compliance, system capabilities, etc.) and develop thoughtful solutions.
  • Excellent written, verbal and overall presentation skills
  • Strong analytical skills Develop appropriate documentation
  • Troubleshooting, Identifying, and resolving problems with existing or potential solutions.
  • Plan, organize, and direct project activities.
  • Ability to work effectively with development resources
  • Ability to work independently, and in groups to achieve project objectives/deliverables
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute deliverables in a fast paced environment
  • Excellent problem-solving skills and able to handle multiple concurrent high-profile issues
  • Ability to establish a high level of trust and confidence with team members and vendors
  • Financial Services Experience preferred
  • Unix administration preferred
  • Oracle administration preferred
  • DNA Fiserv Experience preferred
  • API Development preferred

Education

  • UiPath Advanced RPA Developer Certificate - required
  • Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Sciences, Information Technology, or equivalent work experience at that level.
  • Salesforce Certified Administrator preferred
  • Master’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Analytics or Business preferred

Pay scale by applicable geographic location:

  • Alaska: $95,347.61 - $143,021.42
  • Arizona: $83,778.24 - $125,667.36
  • Florida: $79,788.80 - $119,683.20
  • Nevada: $85,772.96 - $128,659.44
  • Southern California: $91,757.12 - $137,635,68
  • Texas: $80,586.68 - $120,880.03
  • Washington: $97,741.28 - $146,611.92
  • Wyoming: $80,985.63 - $121,478.44

The final pay offered to a successful candidate will be dependent on several factors that may include but are not limited to the type and years of experience within the job, the type of years and experience within the industry, job related training/education, etc.
