Job description

Chainalysis Government Solutions (CGS) is a Chainalysis subsidiary that provides blockchain intelligence solutions, including technology, training, and services to law enforcement and intelligence customers in the U.S. Government. Our job is to ensure the company continues its rapid growth by employing sound and efficient judgment to support operations around the company and influence a groundbreaking industry as it matures and becomes more widely adopted.


As CGS grows, you will be integral in scaling out the commercial legal function.


In This Role, You Will

  • Maintain, improve, and have complete ownership of the government contracting process, and serve as the point of contact for responding to solicitations, RFPs, etc.
  • Review and negotiate government agreements, in both direct and reseller/framework arrangements, and helped draft SoWs
  • Audit existing agreements and documented any deviations from standard process
  • Monitor the performance of government contracts; have responsibility for maintaining registrations and ensuring general ongoing compliance
  • Create and improve processes in order to support ongoing contractual compliance
  • Develop a strong rapport with and work in collaboration with our operations, marketing, infosec, engineering and product teams in connection with our transactional goals
  • Demonstrate a relentless focus on internal client and external customer happiness, while promoting scalable processes and procedures


We’re Looking For Candidates Who Have

  • Excellent judgment and critical thinking skills, and an intense attention to detail
  • At least 7+ years of transaction experience specializing in the negotiation, review, and audit of public sector agreements (both direct, reseller, and framework constructs) with experience in federal, state and local contracting, at least some of which has included SaaS / software licensing
  • In-depth knowledge of FAR and DFAR.
  • A deep understanding of:
  • The public sector contracting process (including GSA schedule vehicles), both direct and framework constructs
  • Government contracting systems
  • Experience supporting a federal sales team with solicited proposals and RFPs at a B2B, rapid growth technology company
  • An independent, patient, and thoughtful demeanor
  • Experience successfully managing shifting priorities in a demanding, fast-paced environment, along with the judgment to know when and how to escalate issues
  • Active Top Secret Security Clearance is a strong plus


Nice To Have Experience

  • Experience with Salesforce and/or CPQ

Compensation Range: $110K - $183.3K
