NTT DATA  currently seeks a Clinical Analyst to join our team remote for a 1 year contract.

Role Responsibilities:

Works with stakeholders to document data needs, test data to ensure validity, map clinical data, and ensure interoperability of clinical data. The analyst will serve as a subject matter expert on data quality and availability, and provide technology solutions.
  • Act as a quality consultant and subject matter expert, performing testing and validation of the mapping of data elements to standards
  • Tests clinical content to ensure the appropriate data modeling, vocabulary, terminology and code-set standard for representing and harmonizing clinical data
  • Collaborates with technical resources to perform root cause analysis and complete remediation of data quality issues
  • Works with customers to clarify and plan for their current and future technology needs. Determines and maps existing business processes/functions and recommends changes required to fit a tightly integrated system.
  • Designs and implements projects requiring systems integration, small teams and multiple technical platforms.
  • Collaborates on driving improvement activities to achieve department and organizational goals.
  • Coordinates with functional team to assure consistency and optimization of overall work product
  • Assumes a proactive role in driving improvement activities to achieve department and organizational goals to deliver value.
  • Maintains current knowledge of industry and business process trends and is able to apply that knowledge to existing business processes.
  • Provides subject-matter expertise of processes, policies and requirements in support of functional area process design, testing and implementation
  • Identifies opportunities for process improvement and makes recommendations that lead to improvements
  • Monitors task assignments to ensure they are performed on schedule, within intended scope and to a defined level of quality.
  • Escalates process and project issues that cannot be resolved

Required Skills/Experience  

  • Minimum of 5 years experience with healthcare/clinical terminologies and code-sets that comprise measure value sets including SNOMED CTTM, LOINC, ICD9-10, CPT4/HCPCS, RxNorm, CVX and other code systems
  • Minimum of 5 years working knowledge of relational databases/database structures, SQL experience
  • Minimum 1 year of IAM general knowledge
  • Minimum 3 years of understanding data collected and used in electronic medical records, and experience navigating EMRs
 

Preferences:

  • Experience with using/implementing HL7 standards and processes including Clinical Document Architecture (CDA) and Fast Healthcare Interoperability Resource (FHIR)
  • Knowledge and experience with ambulatory and acute clinical workflows and clinical information systems.
  • Experience with detailed policies and related data/exchange standards including the ONC Interoperability Advisory Standard, U.S. Core Data for Interoperability initiative, ONC Certification Rules
  • Complexity of work: Within the scope of job, requires critical thinking skills, decisive judgment and the ability to work with minimal supervision. Must be able to work in a stressful environment.

Where required by law, NTT DATA provides a reasonable range of compensation for specific roles. The starting hourly range for this remote role is ($60 - $63/hourly ). This range reflects the minimum and maximum target compensation for the position across all US locations. Actual compensation will depend on several factors, including the candidate's actual work location, relevant experience, technical skills, and other qualifications.

This position is eligible for company benefits that will depend on the nature of the role offered.
