Job description

This is a remote position.

Project Description:

Digital Health, a Shared Health service, will facilitate the improvement and enablement of healthcare delivery transformation through the use of information and communication technology.   The focus is to provide efficient, effective information management and communication technology processes across the provincial health sector.

Mandatory Requirements

1. Degree or Diploma in Computer Science. Proof of the degree or diploma shall be provided with the response.
2. Valid Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) certification. Proof of the certification shall be provided with the response.

Skill and Experience

  • 10 years’ experience in a Business Analysis role implementing or upgrading ICT systems designed to support process improvement and infrastructure in the Public sector.  The response should include at least 3 examples including the duration of the project or work totaling at least 10 years. At least 1 example should include experience within a public healthcare organization.
  • 5 years’ experience in business process mapping activities aimed at reducing overall cost and inefficiencies to the organization. The examples should include how metrics were identified and developed for measuring process performance. The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 5 years. At least 1 example should include the creation of a RACI (Responsible, Accountable, Consulted, Informed) matrix to govern the roles in the process.
  • 3 years’ experience mapping and migrating data that contains sensitive patient or client information. Experience should include database mapping activities for data migration, and the establishment of data dictionaries for end user reporting. The response should include at least 2 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 3 years.
  • 1 year of experience demonstrating proficiency using the Smartsheet software in a project environment. Experience should include building organizational processes using Smartsheet tools, forms, sheets, dashboards, and workflow automation. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that totals at least 1 year. Examples should include details of how the Smartsheet platform was used within the project.
  • 7 years’ experience developing training material and delivering end user training following the implementation of an information system.  The response should include at least 3 examples including duration of the project or work that totals at least 7 years. Examples should include specific details of work performed.
  • 5 years’ experience performing quality assurance and testing in information systems’ projects. Experience should include planning testing activities, developing test scripts, and executing test scripts. The response should include at least 2 examples including the duration of the project or work totaling at least 5 years.
  • 2 years of experience working on projects relating to the implementation of a patient safety and critical incident reporting solution in a healthcare setting. The response should include at least 1 example including duration of the project or work that total at least 2 years.
