Job Description:

We’re looking for a passionate and adaptable engineering leader to help drive the evolution of DTN’s innovative products. In this role, you’ll join a collaborative, multi-disciplinary product team where your technical expertise and leadership will directly shape product planning, design, and delivery. You’ll mentor others, champion engineering best practices, and play a critical role in scaling high-impact solutions for our customers. What You’ll Do:

Design solutions for large sized complexity problems in such a way that is simple and easy to understand by others inside and outside the department
Directly and indirectly mentor others on the team to ensure that the team and department are always moving forward
Create and implement new processes that add to: product quality, product security, performance, and the team and/or department’s success
Translate functional plans into operational processes and guides execution
Work on issues of diverse scope where analysis of situation or data requires evaluation of a variety of factors
Develop and manage operational initiatives to deliver tactical results
Provide guidance to subordinates within the latitude of established company policies
Effectively communicate and present results and recommendations across focus areas

What You Need:

10+ years of software development and project/program management experience, with at least 5 years in engineering leadership roles.
Proven ability to lead cross-functional teams, mentor engineers, and foster a culture of accountability, quality, and continuous improvement.
Strong experience aligning product roadmaps with engineering execution, including capacity planning and delivery oversight in Agile/Scrum environments.
Demonstrated success driving the on-time delivery of large-scale enterprise software, balancing priorities across product, customer, and support needs.
Excellent communication and executive presentation skills, with the ability to influence stakeholders and navigate complex decision-making.
Deep understanding of software development processes, web technologies, security best practices, and cloud-based deployments.
Customer-first mindset with a sharp eye for detail, operational excellence, and the ability to resolve technical conflicts and trade-offs.

The targeted hiring base pay range for this position is between $131,250 and $175,000. DTN is a pay for performance organization, which means there is the opportunity to advance your compensation with performance over time. The actual base pay offered for this position will be dependent upon many factors, including but not limited to: prior work experience, training/education, transferable skills, business needs, internal equity and applicable laws. The targeted hiring base pay range is subject to change and may be modified in the future. This role may also be eligible for market competitive variable pay and benefits.
