Job description

Sales Manager for a multi - site, global Logistics company who are building a sales super team.

Described as the fastest growing Logistics company in the UK.

Bristol - South West territory

Sales Manager MUST have sold Air, Road & Sea Freight for a Freight Forwarder.

Air Freight & Sea Freight Sales Experience Essential

Ability to bring business, clients, contacts will be a distinct advantage.

Package :

£50K - £60K + 10% commission for life time of account and team commission

This role offers a completely flexible working arrangement. The aim is completely to

develop business and make money so whatever suits. Bristol / South West location is important,

The Role:

Achieve new business sales targets by developing relationships with new (and lapsed) customers

Generate own leads and opportunities and follow up on any leads and referrals resulting from

Proactively own the sales process from lead generation to closing the sale:

Arrange own meetings with potential customers to prospect for new business

Negotiate the terms of a sale (price, costs, delivery and specifications) with buyers and close the sale

Effectively interact with the Operations team to fully and brief them on new sales/new customers

Gather and maintain detailed market and target customer information including a clear understanding of customers' business and requirements

Maintain a detailed knowledge of the Company's products, services and pricing structures

Requirements :

Proven track record leading a sales team

Air Freight Sales Experience ESSENTIAL

Sea Freight sales Experience ESSENTIAL

Road Freight Sales Experience ESSENTIAL

Proven track record in external freight sales - ESSENTIAL
