The GEHA Summer Internship Program is designed to provide the following to students:**Program begins June 9, 2025 and will conclude August 15, 2025**
To provide an opportunity for individuals to gain real world experience assisting in applying security and risk management principles. In addition, it allows for additional support for various daily activities pertaining to the cyber and information security program.
Key Duties
Assisting in Security Implementation: Assist in implementing security measures to protect computer systems, networks, and data.
Assisting in Monitoring System Logs: Assist in regularly monitor system logs to identify potential security issues.
Assisting in Conducting Vulnerability Assessments: Assist in analyzing software systems for vulnerabilities and risks.
Assist in Supporting Incident Response: Assist in incident response activities to address security breaches.
Assist in Performing Routine Audits: Assist with conducting routine audits to ensure security measures are functioning correctly.
Assist in Researching Cybersecurity Trends: Stay current on IT security trends and news to help anticipate potential threats.
Assist in Preparing Reports: Assist in preparing reports that document security breaches and the extent of the damage caused.
Requirements
