Experience in healthcare administration or medical assisting, preferably in podiatry or a related field., Proficiency in using electronic medical record (EMR) systems and adaptability to learn new software., Excellent verbal and written communication skills with strong attention to detail., Familiarity with medical terminology and procedures, particularly those related to podiatry..
Key responsabilities:
Contact patients to ensure proper appointment registration and completion of pre-admission paperwork.
Verify and manage patient documentation including social history, medical history, and systems review.
Utilize the clinic’s electronic medical record (EMR) system to manage patient data and appointments.
Support the practice’s transition to a new EMR system as needed.
