Role Overview:
Our client is seeking a talented and creative Video Editor to join their growing marketing team. The ideal candidate will have experience editing professional video content for educational or corporate purposes, with a focus on leadership development, executive coaching, and team performance. This individual will work closely with the marketing and coaching teams to produce engaging videos that support the company’s mission of transforming leadership and professional growth.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Video Editing: Edit raw footage into high-quality, polished videos for use in promotional materials, training modules, client testimonials, social media, and other digital platforms.

  • Content Creation: Work with the marketing team to conceptualize and create video content that promotes coaching services and leadership programs.

  • Motion Graphics: Incorporate basic motion graphics or animations into videos to enhance the visual appeal and engagement of the content.

  • Storytelling: Ensure that each video is clear, concise, and aligned with the company’s brand, messaging, and vision.

  • Timely Delivery: Edit and deliver videos on a fast-paced schedule, keeping up with deadlines and maintaining high standards of quality.

  • Collaborate: Work closely with the marketing team to brainstorm and execute video strategies that help drive conversions, client engagement, and awareness.

Must-Have Skills & Qualifications:

  • Direct Response Mastery: Deep understanding of direct response principles and how to apply them specifically to video content to drive action.

  • Editing Excellence: Advanced proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro or Final Cut Pro, with the ability to work efficiently under tight deadlines.

  • Motion Graphics Creation: Skill with After Effects or similar tools to create compelling visuals that enhance message delivery and call-to-action visibility.

  • Platform Optimization: Expert knowledge of technical requirements and best practices for optimizing video across YouTube, LinkedIn, Instagram, and learning platforms.

  • Data-Driven Editing: Ability to analyze performance metrics and adjust editing approaches based on what converts.

  • Storytelling: Exceptional ability to craft narratives that resonate with target audiences while maintaining brand voice.

What Success Looks Like:

  • Edit & produce one high-quality organic 10-15 minute YouTube video per week.

  • Edit & produce 5-10 video ads per month in required platform formats.

  • Produce 65 high-quality reels/vertical videos per month for social media platforms like Instagram, YouTube, and TikTok.

  • Work with the head of performance marketing to create a rapid ad production process.

  • Maintain 100% on-time delivery for all scheduled video projects & assets.

  • Support achievement of <$1,000 CAC (Cost to Acquire Customer) across the funnel with high-impact creative assets.

  • Maintain an average CTR (click-through rate) of 1%+ across video ads across all platforms.
