You are an experienced Senior Video Editor with a passion for creating both short-form and long-form content. From crafting snappy, engaging videos that captivate social media users to developing in-depth, informative pieces, you know how to tell a story that resonates.

You thrive on creating videos that cater to audiences with short attention spans, delivering instant gratification, and getting straight to the point. You understand the power of visual storytelling across platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts, as well as the nuances of producing long-form content for Facebook and YouTube.

As a Senior Video Editor, you’re well-versed in the latest video editing trends and tools, and your experience allows you to cut and polish raw footage into visually compelling stories. You can adapt your editing style to suit the needs of various clients, ensuring that each piece of content hits the mark—whether it's a 5-second vertical clip or a 5-minute horizontal deep dive.

What You’ll Do

Short-Form Video Editing

  • Focus on capturing attention quickly and telling concise, impactful stories.

  • Create engaging 5-90 second videos for platforms like TikTok, Instagram Reels, LinkedIn, Facebook, and YouTube Shorts.

  • Work with vertical formats (9x16, 1080x1920) to suit mobile-first social media platforms.

  • Edit videos to keep up with the latest trends, adding b-roll, music, sound effects, and motion graphics to enhance the experience.

  • Create captions, subtitles, and intermediate-level motion graphics for added engagement.

Long-Form Video Editing

  • Develop 3-5 minute videos tailored for platforms like Facebook and YouTube, focusing on explanatory content, how-tos, and in-depth analysis.

  • Work with horizontal (16x9, 1920x1080) depending on platform and client needs.

  • Edit lengthy footage (30+ minutes), crafting clear, engaging narratives through expert video cuts, b-roll, and thoughtful pacing.

  • Use your skills in motion graphics, adding graphics, captions, and sound design to create polished final products.

Repurposing Content

  • Leverage your editing expertise to repurpose content across both short-form and long-form formats, tailoring each piece to meet specific client requirements.
