What You’ll Be Doing:
Regulatory Compliance Analyst
The Regulatory Compliance Analyst position works to ensure that Evolent’s day-to-day operations comply with local, state, and federal laws, regulations, and other guidance. Responsible for research and analysis of federal and state laws and regulations as well as pending legislation and rules relevant to health insurance, Medicare, and Medicaid to support strategy and business and client operations. Provides documentation and recommendations on critical business operations and issues from state and federal regulations. This position reports to the Director, Compliance.

What You Will Be Doing:
Conduct research and analysis of new state laws and regulations impacting the health insurance industry including those related to Medicare, Medicaid/Managed Care, Commercial and ACA Marketplace
Monitor newly enacted legislation, regulations, and sub-regulatory guidance to determine impact on Evolent and delegated entities
Monitor, analyze, and compile information on emerging regulatory trends and government priorities, providing insights to support strategic business planning and compliance efforts
Evaluate regulatory requirements and provide recommendations to align business processes, ensure compliance and minimize risk
Draft and distribute summaries of newly enacted laws and regulatory guidance to inform the business of updated compliance requirements
Serve as a liaison between implementation and compliance teams to ensure accurate communication and alignment on new business initiatives
Maintain systems, trackers, and databases housing compliance materials including policies and procedures, legislation, regulatory and sub-regulatory guidance, etc., and provide training to users as needed
Assist with reviewing and maintaining regulatory compliance communications strategies
Develop, review, and edit materials such as policies and procedures, compliance newsletters, and related workflows
Support and coordinate day-to-day compliance activities and projects as needed
Qualifications- Required
Bachelor’s Degree
Minimum of 3+ years of experience in the health insurance industry and CMS regulatory compliance.
Experience tracking state and federal legislative and regulatory activity.
Understanding of the health care business and health care delivery process.
Strong sense of ethics
Demonstrated analytical, problem solving, and documentation skills strongly preferred.
Ability to effectively communicate (both orally and in writing) and collaborate with all levels of workforce, regulatory officials, and clients preferred.
Ability to work collaboratively with all levels of the global workforce and understanding business requirements relative to legislative and regulatory policy preferred.
Technical Requirements:
We require that all employees have the following technical capability at their home: High speed internet over 10 Mbps and, specifically for all call center employees, the ability to plug in directly to the home internet router. These at-home technical requirements are subject to change with any scheduled re-opening of our office locations.

The expected base salary/wage range for this position is $60,000-$70,000. This position is also eligible for a bonus component that would be dependent on pre-defined performance factors. As part of our total compensation package, Evolent is proud to offer comprehensive benefits (including health insurance benefits) to qualifying employees. All compensation determinations are based on the skills and experience required for the position and commensurate with experience of selected individuals, which may vary above and below the stated amounts.Syneos Health
