Job Description:

The US Payroll Specialist is responsible for ensuring the accurate and timely processing and administration of payroll services. This role plays a crucial part in maintaining compliance with payroll regulations and tax requirements, while also providing exceptional customer service to employees regarding payroll inquiries. The Payroll Specialist will collaborate closely with finance and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and support the implementation and maintenance of payroll software.

Working hours: 10:00 - 18:00 CET
During the training period, working hours will be aligned with the US Time zone. After the training period, the standard working hours will be from 10:00 to 18:00 CET.
Essential Job Responsibilities:
  • Payroll Processing: Support the processing of payroll, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in all payroll-related activities.
  • Payroll Administration: Assist with the administration of payroll services, including the management of payroll records and documentation.
  • Compliance: Ensure compliance with all payroll regulations, tax requirements, and company policies.
  • Customer Service: Provide excellent customer service to employees by addressing payroll inquiries and resolving issues promptly.
  • Record Maintenance: Document and maintain accurate payroll records, ensuring data integrity and confidentiality.
  • Collaboration: Work closely with finance and HR teams to ensure seamless payroll operations and effective communication.
  • Software Implementation: Assist with the implementation and maintenance of payroll software, ensuring it meets the needs of the organization.
  • Reporting and Analysis: Support payroll reporting and analysis, providing insights and recommendations for process improvements.
Qualifications & Requirements:
Education:
  • Preferred: Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Experience:
  • Required: 2-3 years of experience in payroll administration or a related role.
  • Preferred: Experience with payroll software and systems.
Skills:
  • Strong knowledge of accounting principles and practices.
  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
  • Ability to manage deadlines effectively and work under pressure.
  • Detail-oriented with a high degree of accuracy.
  • Proficiency in payroll administration and processing.
  • Familiarity with payroll services and software.
  • Understanding of payroll taxes and regulatory requirements.
  • Ability to analyze and report on payroll data.
Certifications:
  • Required: None.
  • Preferred: Payroll certification (e.g., CPP, FPC).
