The ideal candidate will have over 10 years of experience (at least 5 in large
outsourcing situations) as a Hunter in the chosen market. He/ She should possess demonstrable experience in identifying and closing complex, multi-million-dollar technology outsourcing contracts. He/she should be capable of selling at a C-level and developing sponsorship to drive deal closure.
The Business Development Executive develops and maintains comprehensive knowledge of all facets of the business development process, along with demonstrating strong financial, business, and industry insights and consultative selling skills that can be applied to opportunities across the business unit
This person is expected to come with experience in selling in Media-Entertainment-Publishing services vertical. Comes with strong rolodex and establish strong relationships with the clients (including CxO level relationships) in this domain and open doors for the new opportunities in the marketplace.
Role Expectations: 10+ years of relevant business development experience sellingIT services to Fortune 500 customers – preferably Media-Entertainment-Publishing-Edtech services Demonstrable experience in creating opportunities from a defined territory by using sales 101 – cold calling, industry memberships, local connects, utilize their Alma Mater alumni’s. · Extensive experience interacting, presenting and working with C level executives (CEO, CIO, etc). · Ability to meet such executives independently to qualify opportunities. Ability to gather, by way of meetings, expert knowledge of client's strategy, business priorities and initiatives to develop compelling and innovative buying visions, from HCL’s Infrastructure solution portfolio, that will resonate with senior client executives to attain business unit, country/area or international objectives. Relentless pursuit of new clients through cold calls, email, email campaigns, and other marketing initiatives· Build long last relationships with decision makers throughout assigned territory or sales vertical· Develop new and inventive sales methodologies to improve overall sales close rates and tighten sales cycles· Research the latest in the business industry and creating new opportunities to expand business· Strong understanding of company products or services as well as business position and competition· Identifying sales and services that would appeal to new clients· Managing company and client expectations· Ability to collaborate and negotiate with team members andother HCL resources to define approaches and strategies to meet customerrequirements and develop win / win solutions to specific tactical project problems and issues. · Plan and engage in substantive dialogues and very complex negotiations between HCL management, client management and other parties which meet business requirements and often result in long-term agreements and commitments.
