Industry Sales Manager (TE EMC Filters & Power Quality)

What you will be doing:
As a member of our Industrial Automation and Electrification , the Industry Sales Manager will work directly with customer engineering and buyers to help solve their EMC design challenges. The Industry Sales Manager is supporting TE Manufacture Rep Agencies, TE direct Key Account Manager and Channel sales teams but also managing the TE Mfg Rep agencies for their customers. You will learn the market on the job training to become identify TE’s Filter application expert representative for accounts in a defined territory. The responsibilities of this role are to new opportunities within existing accounts and develop new customers opportunities for EMC Filter solutions. The Industry Sales Manager is responsible for the pipeline development of new products and for managing and helping the sales team to win new projects. You will be collaborating with multiple roles such as TE Mfg Rep Sales Managers, Product Managers, Channel Managers, Key Account Managers.
As the Industry Sales Manager, a typical day may include:
- Promote full TE portfolio EMC solutions for all applications.
- Drive brand awareness and position TE solutions & capabilities with our customers
- Build and maintain strong business relationships with customers to drive/increase sales and ensure an exceptional customer experience solving customer challenges
- Develop sales opportunities and assist in developing the pipeline for future sales activity through daily interactions with customers.
- Learn the customer applications and work with customer engineering teams to solve their designs with TE solutions.
- Learn the key customer’s challenges, needs, requirements, capture their voice so TE can be the solution provider even if that means to create new products or modifications to existing products.
- Respond professionally to inquiries from customers.
- Develop and execute on growth strategies to align to account plan(s) for growth to TE
What your background should look like:
- Bachelor’s Degree (Mechanical Engineering preferred)
- 5+ years’ experience in consultive sales role
- Knowledge of how to work with OEM (Original equipment manufacturer) and Distribution Channel partners
- 25-50% travel required

COMPENSATION
• Competitive base salary commensurate with experience: $93,100 - $139,700 (subject to change dependent on physical location)
• Posted salary ranges are made in good faith. TE Connectivity reserves the right to adjust ranges depending on the experience/qualification of the selected candidate as well as internal and external equity.
• Total Compensation = Base Salary + Incentive(s) + Benefits
