Lead and manage the migration project of the RMS system from SQL Server 2012 to SQL Server 2016.

Oversee technical aspects of the project using SQL Server Management Studio.

Coordinate with project teams and clients to ensure successful implementation.

Conduct occasional onsite meetings as required.

Job Description:

Our client is seeking an experienced Senior SQL Server DBA with Technical Project Manager experience to accelerate the migration of the RMS (Records Management System, by Central Square) system. This person will lead and manage this project at a technical level.

The migration is from the current version of RMS that is on SQL Server 2012 to a new version of RMS on SQL Server 2016.

As the system is on premise, our client has complete access to both versions of the databases via SQL Server Management Studio
