Business Development Manager – Docking Solutions Location: Remote (UK-wide) – occasional travel to Sheffield (1–2x/month)
Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (Ideally ~£60K) + Quarterly Bonus + Car Allowance
Drive revenue growth within the docking equipment market, aligning with the UK- wide sales strategy.
Collaborate with internal sales teams to meet agreed KPIs and commercial goals.
Prepare competitive quotations, log opportunities in the CRM, and manage the full sales cycle through to order close.
Conduct customer site visits and technical surveys, ensuring accurate project data is passed to the operations team.
Build strong, lasting relationships with developers, architects, consultants, and end users to secure new business and repeat projects.
Monitor market trends, competitor activity, and product developments to stay ahead of industry needs.
What We’re Looking For:
In-depth knowledge of docking systems and the ability to interpret technical or architectural drawings.
Strong commercial acumen with a background in pricing, quotation, and sales forecasting.
A proven track record in B2B sales with excellent customer service and stakeholder engagement skills.
Self-driven and able to manage a remote, field-based role while contributing to team objectives.
Proficient in Microsoft Office, CRM systems, and capable of preparing high-quality presentations and specs
Base Salary: £50,000 – £65,000 (targeting ~£60K)
Quarterly Bonus: Up to 10% of salary per quarter, depending on performance
Car Allowance: £650/month
Remote Working: UK-based with 1–2 office visits/month (Sheffield)
Travel: Frequent UK travel to customer sites
