Project Manager

Shift Markets is seeking a talented, tech-savvy Project Manager to support enterprise-level client implementations, integrations, and new product launches within our cryptocurrency product offering. 

Shift Markets is a financial technology services provider committed to creating innovative solutions within the cryptocurrency ecosystem that improve global access to crypto assets.

As our Project Manager, you will be working closely with our engineering and customer success teams to support project planning and implementation of cross-functional client projects and product development. We're looking for someone who loves to take on new challenges and manage ambiguity, create & define project plans to proactively solve problems, and work with others to resolve issues if they arise. In this role, you will gain an intimate understanding of blockchain-related business models.

Responsibilities:

• Gather business requirements, mockups, and technical specifications from product owners and clients.
• Break down complex project needs into clear, actionable plans for cross-functional teams.
• Develop, revise, and ensure adherence to project timelines based on the product roadmap.
• Utilize Asana and other tools to organize, track, and optimize workflows for team members.
• Streamline product implementation workflows to boost efficiency and reduce delays.
• Proactively identify, address, and resolve blockers to keep projects on track.
• Lead and facilitate team stand-ups and meetings to resolve issues in real time.
• Manage end-to-end implementation of new products and features for clients.
• Balance efficient project structure with minimizing administrative overhead.
• Work with development teams to prioritize and manage backlogs.
• Collaborate with product owners to successfully deliver new features and products.
• Coordinate with QA teams and stakeholders to ensure successful product releases.
• Contribute ideas to ensure robust, user-friendly feature designs and product improvements.
• Serve as the bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders.
• Cultivate strong relationships with clients, vendors, and internal teams.
• Identify potential risks early and develop mitigation plans to manage them.
• Communicate effectively and tactfully with enterprise clients, tailoring information to their needs.

Requirements

• 2+ years of professional, client-facing experience in software project management is preferred.

• Education such as a bachelor’s degree, with a major related to project management or computer science is preferred.

This is a full-time, permanently remote position. Working hours are within European Time zones. Salary is commensurate with experience.
