Job description

The Role
TimelyCare is currently seeking a Director of Sales, RVP to support and lead a team of Sr. Sales Reps to meet and exceed their individual targets, contributing to overall sales team and company revenue goals.

This person will manage a team of quota-carrying, consultative Sales Reps who are responsible for prospecting, managing and closing business in the higher education market. Qualified candidates will possess strong leadership experience, proven coaching DNA, and a deep understanding of competitive sales cycles. This person will play a key role in leading a highly transparent and motivated sales team that focuses on bringing their best to every interaction.

What You'll Do
  • Motivate, lead and develop a team of 5-8 Sr. Solutions Specialists (Sr. Sales Reps)
  • Refine, measure and reinforce sales metrics, goals and best practices
  • Collaborate with Sales execs to develop and evolve sales tactics
  • Participate actively in the Sales process, helping Sr. Reps to close deals
  • Play an integral part in growing TimelyCare by being actively involved in the Sales team hiring process
  • Being well informed about current industry trends and being able to talk intelligently about higher education and healthcare
  • High EQ with empathetic / servant leadership style, strong critical thinking skills, adaptable, and able to thrive in a mission-driven culture 

  • What You Bring
  • 10+ years of sales experience (past experience in higher education is strongly preferred) with proven success contributing to profitability by aligning the relationship between the business and corporate level sales strategy 
  • 5+ years of experience leading a Sales team
  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing or other relevant field is preferred, but not required
  • Proven track record of success in Sales
  • Excellent negotiation and leadership skills
  • In-depth knowledge of sales techniques and best practices

  • The salary range for this opportunity is $150,000-155,000 per year, depending on education and experience. This is the base pay. You will be eligible for a discretionary bonus in addition to the base pay, to be discussed during the interview process. NOTE - Sales roles also include incentive commission which will also be discussed during the interview process.
