This role will be strategic and will develop, negotiate, as well as executing contractual agreements for larger Commercial Central OE multi-businesses/Platform pursuits. This position will be faced with complexities of legacy company culture, process and integrating to a common contractual approach and strategy. This role will also be an integral player in customer (internal and external) relationship building and contractual initiatives.  It will contribute to driving change in support of the "One Collins" contractual process and culture.

What You Will Do:

• Supports the Collins Transformation organization for strategic large commercial platform pursuits

• Internally works at all levels of the business with significant exposure and time spent with leaders of different SBUs and the General Counsel of Collins Aerospace. 

• Responsible for solving problems that are complex and negotiating complex, high dollar value multi- business, multi- year OE agreements.

• Collins contracts point of contact for large OEM customer

• Responsible to lead through large multi-business terms and conditions negotiations

• Coordinate between/among SBUs when contracts/proposal activities / common issues affect multiple BUs with the same customer

• Must be willing and able to travel up to 15% of the time. (mostly domestic/some international)

Qualifications You Must Have:

• Typically requires a University Degree and minimum 14 years prior relevant experience or an Advanced Degree in a related field and minimum 12 years of experience or in absence of a degree, 18 years of relevant experience 

• Must be authorized to work in the U.S. without sponsorship now or in the future. RTX will not offer sponsorship for this position 

• 7+ years experience with contract formation, analysis and negotiation

Qualifications We Prefer:

• Experience contracting in a manufacturing industry

• OEM commercial aerospace experience

• Project management experience

Remote: Employees who are working in Remote roles* will work primarily offsite (from home).  An employee may be expected to travel to the site location as needed.  

*This position is remote; however, if you live within a reasonable commute of a Collins site with other colleagues you interact with, your manager will discuss whether there is a degree of onsite presence associated with this role

The salary range for this role is 176,000 USD - 352,000 USD. The salary range provided is a good faith estimate representative of all experience levels. RTX considers several factors when extending an offer, including but not limited to, the role, function and associated responsibilities, a candidate’s work experience, location, education/training, and key skills.
