Job description

Our client is a sustainability-focused company specialising in recycling and circular economy solutions. They provide innovative waste management and product recovery programs for businesses across Australia.

They are now looking for a Customer Service Officer to support their growing operations.

Core Role Functions:
  1. Processing collections orders
  2. Processing fulfillment orders
  3. Processing registration orders
Key Responsibilities:
Order Processing & Customer Support
  • Process collection, fulfilment, and registration orders efficiently.
  • Provide support to end-users via phone and online channels.
  • Ensure all orders are processed accurately and in a timely manner.
  • Escalate and record courier non-conformance issues in the CRM.
Call & Email Handling
  • Manage a high volume of inbound calls and emails.
  • Make outbound calls (20–30 per day) during designated follow-up periods.
  • Represent the client professionally, conveying their environmental commitment to customers.
Collaboration & Process Improvement
  • Communicate with internal teams to improve efficiency.
  • Investigate and troubleshoot process-related issues.
  • Work independently while maintaining team coordination.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of experience in a call centre or customer service role.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent data entry and order processing skills.
  • High attention to detail with problem-solving abilities.
  • Ability to multitask and work within deadlines.
  • Familiarity with CRM systems and customer service tools.
  • Personable, friendly, and capable of working under pressure.
  • Self-motivated with a team player attitude.
