The Impact You’ll Make in this Role

As a Business Development Manager for Eastern Europe & Turkey you will be responsible for supporting the development of revenue growth, customer relationships and market understanding with some of the Europe’s leading construction, aerospace, automotive, energy and engineering companies. You will have the opportunity to tap into your curiosity and collaborate with some of the most innovative and diverse people around the world.

Here, you will make an impact by:

• Driving sales growth for one of 3M’s fastest growing businesses.

• Identification of new business opportunities for our range of Glass Bubbles.

• Cultivating existing accounts and building relationships to maximize future growth potential.

• Identification and monitoring of market trends, opportunities and risks within the target market sectors.

• Maintaining highest level of business compliance and quality standards.

Your Skills and Expertise: 

To set you up for success in this role from day one, 3M is looking for candidates who must have the following qualifications:

  • Extensive sales experience and successful record of attracting new customers within the high-tech product sector
  • Deep knowledge and understanding of at least two of our key target markets: Construction, Automotive, Energy.
  • Background of specification-driven selling within a highly technical, materials science business.
  • Excellent interpersonal, presentation and influencing skills, with the ability to form strong relationships with internal and external customers/stakeholders.
  • Proficient in using CRM systems to their full potential, with a preference for experience in Salesforce.com
  • Technical/Engineering Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Chemical Engineering or similar materials science qualification.

Jos Specifics:

Location: Poland or Austria (remote work)

Territory responsibility: Eastern Europe & Turkey

Travel: Ability to travel up to 80 % (domestic & international)
