Operations Manager

We are currently seeking a Manager of Operations. The scope of the position consists of leading, managing and planning the daily activities of the business support staff (including, but not limited to, client project coordinators, contact centre agents, administrators), as well as participation in projects that have impact on a national level. The ideal candidate must be able to create a strong partnership with multiple departments, have the ability to create a collaborative, engaging culture with open communication, have an understanding of change management while keeping employees informed and motivated through the rollout of new products and processes.

Responsibilities: 

 

Leadership 

  • Lead and manage a team
  • Foster a collaborative and results-oriented environment through team coaching, mentorship, and performance feedback
  • Leading teams within different timezones

 

Customer Focus 

  • Promote and manage a customer-centric team through monitoring and managing performance to meet established product and service standards 
  • Oversee all aspects of project execution, ensuring alignment with client objectives, brand voice, and target audience
  • Collaborate with different teams to understand client goals and translate them into actionable strategies focused on achieving measurable results
  • Manage the content /ad creation workflow, including scheduling, quality control, and adherence to brand guidelines for each project

 

Performance Management & Metrics 

  • Track, monitor, and report on the results of individuals and team
  • Leverage data analytics - implement and optimize reporting tools to streamline processes and identify key performance indicators (KPIs)
  • Analyze client campaign performance using industry best practices and reporting tools to track progress against KPIs
  • Proactively identify and recommend data-driven strategies to enhance client engagement, brand awareness, and project performance 

 

Continuous Improvement 

  • Stay up to date on the latest social media trends and features 
  • Collaborate with internal teams (Sales, Product, Brand) to ensure seamless delivery and brand consistency 
  • Identify, develop and implement improvements to Operations processes, procedures, and policies and product evolution

 

Qualifications: 

  • 3-5 years of management experience or leadership role
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills
  • Proven track record of building and managing high-performing teams focused on delivering measurable results 
  • Strong experience with data analysis and applying insights to optimize processes
  • Ability to delegate effectively, prioritize tasks, and manage multiple projects simultaneously

 

Bonus points for: 

  • Background in digital marketing advertising or management.
  • In-depth understanding of social media marketing for small and medium-sized businesses (SMBs)
  • Project management experience
  • Experience developing and implementing policies, workflows and process mapping
  • Proficiency in analytics and reporting tools 
  • Passion for social media and a keen understanding of current 
  • Bilingual (English/French) is a strong asset
  • Experience in leading a remote team working in different time zones
