Job description

TL;DR

Snappt is seeking a Strategic Account Manager (SAM) to own the success of our largest and most valuable clients. This critical role is responsible for maximizing revenue retention and growth within key accounts by fostering strong relationships, expanding product adoption, and identifying new sales opportunities. The SAM will act as the quarterback for their assigned accounts, collaborating closely with two key partners; first the Client Success Manager (CSM) to reduce churn and reinforce value, and second, an Account Executive (AE) to support smaller opportunities and break into competitive accounts.

The Snappt platform leverages our proprietary algorithm to effectively and efficiently identify tampered or altered documents used for income or financial verification. For example, this empowers property managers and owners to avoid costly evictions (and the associated bad debt.)

What you will do

  • Manage a portfolio of named accounts, representing several million dollars of existing ARR, across the industry’s largest accounts.
  • Develop thoughtful, comprehensive account plans that focus on revenue retention and ultimate customer satisfaction in collaboration with Customer Success and the rest of your team.
  • Develop and maintain executive-level relationships with key stakeholders to strengthen partnerships and uncover new business opportunities.
  • Identify and close new revenue opportunities within the portfolio, working from the highest levels down through regional decision makers.
  • Serve as the primary owner of large, complex opportunities including lead generation, qualification, executive alignment, and closing
  • Expand account penetration by identifying and selling into new properties, regions, and business units that are not currently using Snappt.
  • Partner with the Client Success Manager (CSM) to foster retention, reduce churn, and reinforce Snappt’s value proposition.
  • Work closely with the Account Executive (AE) to expand our services to existing clients and pursue growth opportunities within large owners & operators that are not using Snappt today. 
  • Identify key, new logo prospects as assigned and create and execute new business sales motions to add new clients.
  • Analyze account performance and usage trends to proactively recommend solutions that drive additional value and increase adoption.
  • Lead strategic business reviews with clients, presenting insights, best practices, and opportunities for expanded engagement.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and support teams to address customer needs and optimize account growth strategies.
  • Serve as an effective client advocate to ensure feedback and the voice of your customers is represented throughout the Snappt organization. 
  • Meet and exceed revenue and retention targets while maintaining a customer-first approach.

What you bring

  • 8+ years of direct SaaS selling experience, meeting or exceeding targets
  • Proven track record as a strategic sales professional with intellectual curiosity and a high business acumen
  • Extensive experience identifying and landing new logos
  • Previous tenure managing a book of accounts with a focus on revenue retention and growth
  • Strong leadership skills; the ability & desire to mentor others on sales best practices, processes, and general business acumen
  • A desire to win and contribute as part of a great team
  • A willingness to consistently learn and improve and high coachability
  • Open-minded and willing to innovate techniques, tactics, processes and GTM methods
  • Proven success creating business in new markets
  • A mix of start-up and prop tech software company experience preferred
  • Prior experience selling in the multifamily real estate ecosystem
  • Ability to work and thrive in a fast-paced, high-growth, and rapidly changing business landscape
  • Ability to travel as needed

Annual Base Salary $130,000 + commission
