Job Overview
As an Account Manager, Business Sales, you will build positive relationships and drive business growth by implementing solution-based sales strategies and uncovering new opportunities. You will develop new business within your assigned accounts through a consultative approach, providing strategic direction on mobility solutions, deployment planning, and cost analysis.

You will lead existing accounts, focusing on minimizing churn and ensuring timely delivery of solutions. This includes performing upgrades, providing reporting and billing support, and responding to client issues. You will also build business plans to expand within existing accounts, identify customer needs to drive incremental sales, and stay updated on industry trends. Additionally, you will apply sales tools to handle the sales funnel and generate reports, ensuring all internal departments meet customer needs.

Job Responsibilities:

  • Account Management: Manage existing set of assigned accounts with a primary focus on base management efforts to minimize churn risk within each account deck. Perform upgrades/device management; provide reporting and billing support; respond to client issues via email/voicemail. Ensure the timely and successful delivery of our solutions according to customer needs and objectives. Track and drive device utilization by training and sharing off-the-shelf marketing materials on how to utilize products. Partner with Client Sales Executive / Account Executive to plan Quarterly Business Reviews (QBR) for existing clients; perform analyses and make recommendations to leadership.
  • Business Planning: Build a business plan with Client Sales Executive / Account Executive on “land and expand” strategy to identify additional contacts and additional sales opportunities inside existing assigned accounts.
  • Customer Needs: Identify customer needs and utilize solution-based selling techniques to upsell current assigned accounts and drive incremental sales/revenue. Assist existing customer base with account activities such as adds, changes, deletes.
  • Knowledge Update: Continuously update knowledge of wireless products, services, industry trends, and the driven dynamics of the marketplace. Participate in training opportunities on products and services and attend sales meetings. Regular focus on improving communication and presentation abilities. Stay ahead of ongoing market trends and general developments to close on assigned accounts.
  • Sales Tools: Fully apply all sales force automation, funnel management, and prospecting tools. Manage sales funnel and generate reporting on sales activities and forecasting. Ensure all internal departments have fulfilled responsibilities to acquire and retain our valued customers.

 


Education and Work Experience:

  • High School Diploma/GED (Required)
  • Bachelor's Degree (Preferred)
  • 2-4 years Proven experience selling to accounts as an Account Manager, Account Executive, etc. (Required)
  • 2-4 years Wireless, telecom, technology experience and/or B2B experience. (Preferred)

 


Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

  • Sales Consistent track record of delivering tailored solutions that meet specific client needs, ensuring high customer satisfaction and encouraging long-term relationships. (Required)
  • Communication Consistent track record to effectively communicate, present, and influence partners at all interpersonal levels, including executives and C-suite, by tailoring messages to diverse audiences and encouraging strong professional relationships. (Required)
  • Presentations Develop and customize impactful presentations for clients, highlighting key sales propositions and addressing specific customer needs. (Required)
  • Sales Support Tools Proficient in CRM software, such as Salesforce, and MS Office, particularly Excel (e.g., creating sales reports), PowerPoint (e.g., crafting sales presentations), and Word (e.g., drafting proposals) (Required)

    Total Target Cash Pay Range: $66,500 - $119,800, inclusive of target incentives

    Base Pay Range: $46,550 - $83,860
