Venatus is looking for a Technical Account Manager to join our Programmatic team, focusing on strengthening our technology and operations by driving growth, transparency, and efficiency across Venatus.
This role serves as the bridge between our partners and our product, ensuring seamless technical support, troubleshooting, and strategic optimisations to maximise publisher revenue.
The ideal candidate is a highly analytical and detail-oriented individual with experience in programmatic advertising, ad technology, and monetization strategies. You will be responsible for optimising ad performance, troubleshooting integrations, and collaborating with internal teams to ensure our partners achieve the highest possible revenue and engagement.
Technical Implementation & Support:
Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting for new and existing publisher integrations across web, in-app and mobile environments.
Support the implementation of programmatic solutions across header bidding, OpenRTB, Prebid, and Google Ad Manager (GAM).
Oversee SDK integrations and tag-based setups, ensuring smooth and efficient ad delivery.
Work closely with engineering and product teams to enhance system performance and address technical roadblocks.
Optimisation & Performance Management:
Analyse ad performance, bid requests, and revenue data to identify areas for optimisation and enhance yield management.
Research, suggest and implement best practices for ad refresh, throttling, and ad placement strategies to maximise engagement and revenue.
Evaluate and recommend new demand partners, ad technologies, and monetization tools to improve publisher earnings.
Monitor and troubleshoot discrepancies in revenue and impression delivery across various platforms.
Collaboration & Partner Engagement:
Serve as the technical point of contact, providing clear guidance on integration and monetization best practices.
Work cross-functionally with Business Development, Publisher Operations and Product and Engineering teams to ensure a cohesive approach to monetization and partner support.
Educate internal and external stakeholders on new technologies, industry trends, and best practices for programmatic advertising.
Communicate complex technical concepts in a clear and actionable manner to non-technical audiences.
Requirements:
4+ years of experience in a technical account management or programmatic advertising role.
Strong understanding of technical integrations in both Web and App environments.
Experience working with both SSPs and DSPs in an Account Management capacity.
Knowledge and/or experience with header bidding, OpenRTB and SDK integrations.
A strong understanding of 1st party data strategies and how they can be activated across both Web and App.
Familiarity with A/B testing frameworks and experimentation methodologies.
Proficiency in SQL, HTML, JavaScript, and debugging tools is a plus.
Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret large data sets and make data-driven optimisation decisions.
Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and a proactive approach to troubleshooting and issue resolution.
Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively across teams and with external partners.
