Position Summary:
Swiftly is searching for a results-driven Retail Sales Director to drive revenue growth and expand our retail partnerships, reporting to the VP of Retail Sales. This role focuses on executing sales strategies, closing deals, and increasing adoption of our app/web platform and digital ad solutions. The ideal candidate has a track record of hitting and exceeding quotas, developing new business, and strengthening client relationships within the retail and adtech space.
While the role is primarily remote, there will be frequent virtual meetings and client interaction.
Occasional travel may be required for meetings and events.
Responsibilities Include:Own and execute the full sales cycle, from lead generation to contract execution, to achieve and exceed revenue targetsProspect, qualify, and close new retail partnerships, leveraging both inbound leads and outbound sales effortsIdentify key decision‐makers and develop action plans to deepen client relationshipsDevelop and implement strategic account plans to maximize revenue potential and ensure long-term customer successBuild and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor for retailers looking to enhance their digital capabilitiesConduct high-impact sales presentations and product demonstrations to key decision-makersLeverage sales data and market insights to identify opportunities for expansion and optimize sales strategiesCollaborate cross-functionally with marketing, product, and customer success teams to ensure smooth onboarding and ongoing engagement with clientsAccurately forecast and report on sales performance, maintaining pipeline visibility in SalesforceDevelop an intimate understanding of Swiftly’s business and our clients using a variety of sourcesOther related duties assignedRequired Qualifications:5-7+ years of experience selling app/web platform and/or digital ad products to retailersProven track record of meeting and exceeding sales quotas in a fast-paced sales environmentStrong business development skills, with the ability to identify and engage new retail clientsExcellent negotiation and closing skills with a results-oriented mindsetExperience managing the sales pipeline and utilizing CRM tools like SalesforceAbility to work independently and adapt in a high-growth, dynamic environmentExtensive prior exposure to supporting and working with executive senior management Strong listening, questioning, presentation, and negotiation skills ‐ outstanding communication and interpersonal skillsDisciplined time management and ability to work under pressure in a cross functional environmentAdvanced computer software proficiency (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint and Salesforce)High level of expertise in analyzing information and making information-based recommendationsPreferred Qualifications:Retail media sales experience is a plusFamiliarity with e-commerce, digital advertising, and adtech solutions#LI-Remote
